Belvoir Art Trail 3 - 6 May 2019 Call for Returns Deadline for return 17 February 2019
Hello and thank you for your interest in taking part in the Belvoir Art Trail 2019, a voluntary run event taking place from 3rd to 6th May 2019. All artists, artisans, crafters, makers, designers etc are welcome to take part, provided the work exhibited is original and individual (ie not mass produced) and that you live, work or and will be exhibiting work within the Vale of Belvoir area. The application process involves completing the attached form, which needs to be returned to at email@example.com by 19th February 2019. We will use the information provided to programme the event and where needed try to match those artists who do not already have a venue for exhibition with possible venues that are looking for artists. However, if you are an artist or group we strongly advise you try and find an appropriate venue yourself first, as we can by no means guarantee finding you somewhere to exhibit. Once selected it is up to the artists and venues to put up, exhibit and take down all the artwork as well as be available at the exhibition when it is open to the public. We will make introductions, co-ordinate and publicise the programme and support you as we can but the ultimate responsibility remains with you, the applicant. As such we advise you to make sure appropriate public liability insurance is in place for your exhibition. (We can offer some suggestions for where to get quotes if you need more information). All artists, groups or venues will be asked to make a contribution of £5 to help cover publicity costs, once their exhibition is confirmed as part of the Belvoir Art Trail. As the event co-ordinators we make NO money from it, indeed we also pay the contribution ourselves as artists / venues owners. Belvoir Art Trail takes NO commission on sales made as a result of the event but individual venues may do so it is important that you to check this directly with them when you are agreeing arrangements. If you have any further questions you can email us firstname.lastname@example.org , send a message via out facebook at www.facebook.com/belvoirarttrail or call Jane Millum on 07772468750. With all that said it really is a fun event to take part in and there will be chances to meet other artists and us at the preview evening, more information for which will be made available during the programming period in February. Thanks again and we look forward to hearing from you soon. With best wishes Dian, Donna, Glenda and Jane

Connect for encouragement We would like to introduce you to some of our friends, in the past we have promoted their events for them and likewise for us. These are people we have spent time with and value their giftings. You never know these people could be on your doorstep and you have no idea! There are so many people across the UK and Europe, who are a chain of fires connected by the Holy Spirit, lighting up the way. Donna saw fires dotted accross a patchwork of countryside connected by streams, this is similar to a painting by Christ John Otto and a prophecy by Rachel Hickson. Less than a year ago we meet Val and John Blundell at a Prophetic Artists Leaders Conference in Bath. If you want to know and experience receiving and creating specific prophetic images for individuals they are leading the way. They live near Market Rasen and Lincoln if you want to get in touch contact John email@example.com or via their web site www.prophecythroughart.co.uk. In Bath last year we got to meet Bhari and James Long who were running the prophetic Artist weekend. They have been running workshops for about 10 years and Bhari has written an excellent book on the prophetic arts. You can find out more at their web site http://www.propheticartists.com/ We learned about Bhari and James through Roger and Rosa Wain who came to our first gathering and have been supportive friends ever since. They live near Coventry and can be contacted at http://www.rosawainartist.com/ Rosa is a wonderful artist who has painted large in churches, paints scripture in her kaleidoscope style and opens her studio for the public once a year. She also runs and organises workshops.
We have many friends across the country and overseas who we will introduce in future issues. Please contact us if you are running and event and you think having it in this newsletter will help. Also please help us by connecting us to people who might like these newsletters and by all means forward them on.
